Whether we abuse it through junk food, lack of sleep or overworking, it keeps going as long as it can. Today, take the time to say “Thank you”. Start with your feet that carry your weight and take you wherever you want to go and move your way up your body. Express your gratitude to your legs, thighs, stomach, chest, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, face and all the way to the top of your head. When you have finished, just sit there for a few minutes soaking in the healing energies of gratitude.
Benefits of gratitude practices
The emotion of gratitude is also a great anti-dote to our 3 big unsettling emotions – fear, doubt and judgment. When such emotions arise, just gently turn your mind towards what’s good and wholesome in the situation.
